Didn't you know, Meelynn? Liking something is exactly the same as being obsessive about it.
Hey, we might as well just resurrect the manga/anime debate, all call each other losers and hopeless otaku, and call it a day. |

I adopted a cat. I love her to bits but it wasn't a good idea. Just live your life and have a cat when you want to train yourself for having babies.

As far as cats go, Japan is FULL. It doesn't need any more cats. My stupid neighbour feeds the strays, which then happily leave the remains of their dinner outside my fucking front door. Then they have the cheek to wail and groan in the darkness when the leftovers run out. Sends a shiver down my spine just thinking about them. As a result, I try to run them over when I drive in and out of my car park.

As for adopting a pet here: my pred got herself a cat and took it back to the US with her without any trouble. I'm not sure what the quarantine period was, but it seemed short and painless.

Oh, ok. Well then someone else you love. But not really, I just get really angry when people talk about killing cats because I am a crazy cat lady.

When you have trouble finding a good house for a pet I can definitely understand the worrying.
Otherwise learning to live without your pet is like learning to live without your family, friends, loved ones and all the things you love back home - it is a part of the living abroad experience. From now on it is just you in your lonely un-insulated appartment! Ganbatte ne! |

On topic. Abusing people in Applying gets you a ban.

You know, I was day dreaming in 3rd period and thought, if I went back home, or my next place of living was far away (I dunno, maybe I'll do my masters in France) I could take the Transsiberian Express with my cat and we'll have an adventure.
God, I'm such a dreamer sometimes, I make myself sick.
