My friend got an interview lined up with a small eikaiwa in Tokyo.

I've never been through an interview with an eikaiwa so I couldn't give any advice but anyone has any?

What kind of questions would they usually ask? Anyone know a good sample lesson in case they request one?

They may ask "Why ESL?"; "How do you like kids?"; "How would you handle such-and-such a situation?". Your friend could teach colors or numbers to imaginary children for a demo lesson. If it is a demo lesson for adults, then the people may just provide you with a textbook to teach from.

You can look under the FAQs about teaching.

Good luck to your friend!
