にんげんみあふれる

人間味あふれる

A student is using this to discribe Kabuki, but when I translate it, it comes out as something like flowing of human kindness, and my JTE translated it as humane so I am completely stumped on this, Any help would be great!

Flood of emotion is how I'd word it.

Full of humanity is what I would pick.

the funny thing is that 人間味 can also mean human weakness. and in Japan weakness and fraility can be seen as good points raither than bad. hmmm

In ancient China 味 meant good/lingering and appreciation.
