I know it has been a while since I was last on this site but I would like to as a question about the pension remittance.

I just received a text from my mother about getting a letter from the Pension office in Japan with a booklet telling me how much I am getting back. I was told by my supervisor in Japan (before I was leaving) that the money will be placed in my Japanese bank account. I am assuming that the money is in there now.

What should be my next step to get my money back?

if youre in japan go to your bank and withdraw it, if not, why would you have it sent to your japanese bank?

My supervisor told me I had to (I honestly didn't know what I had to do for it) but I talked to my old super and he is sending it to me now.

My sup is going to send mine too.

Has anyone had theirs yet? I've not heard a thing, even though my sup said she was onto it. What am I meant to be doing/seeing right now to get it in good time?

Does the pension service pay once a quarter?

I got mine filed during late October so I should get it by March right?

From older threads it looked like people who filed in the fall got their refund in january or february. I've heard nothing at all yet and I filed in September.
