This won't REALLY tell you what it's like to be a JET, since it's set in a "Language school", but it will give you some idea of the different types of colleagues you may be working with.
Bear in mind it's intended as a comedy, although the Australian character, Neville, is a dead ringer for a Canadian guy I actually worked with in Osaka!

This is missing the foreigner guy who just came to hook up with J-girls and spends all his time making demeaning comments about the women here.

That looked just like the hagwon I taught at in Korea, though our classrooms were named after Ivy League schools as well as international big cities. (Well, that and the owners cared more about making money and keeping the students than if the students actually learned anything.)

That definitely summed up my coworkers pretty well though. Thanks. :)

wow...takes all kinds I guess!! though I imagine most ALTs won't get the privilege of living around so many other expats, which could be bad and good

well, it wasn't uncommon in osaka to have 2 or more ALTs at the one school [not necessarily all from JET]; and all ALTs will have a JET community they'll be expected to meet up with, for good or bad.
