View Full Version : Japanese practice game prototype

Hi there,

I'm new here. After enjoying the experience some of you guys are sharing, I decided to share mine as well.

I'm using Anki on a daily basis. It's very good, and I can't live without.

However there's something missing. Anki is good to make sure I remember what I've learnt, however it doesn't help me to increase the speed at which I recognize characters like the hiraganas, katakanas and kanjis. For that, I need A LOT more repetition.

That's where my little game proto comes in: it offers repetitions that scale in difficulty as you progress, and it remembers your mistakes by asking what you've answered wrong more often.

For now you can use it freely to revise your hiraganas, so it's pretty much for the beginners such as myself, but I intend to let the user add anything he wants, such as kanjis, in future versions.
