Hey what's up, I just had a quick question for you guys and hopefully I posted on the right forum. Do any of you have any information/stories about the NOVA Group. I recently applied and they responded in a matter of days saying that I'm eligible for a interview in Boston. I was just wondering if any of you know what they're like and if it's a good alternative to JET, just in case I don't get in. Thanks

Nova gets a lot of bad press and a lot of people will advise you to avoid them like the plague due to long hours and lack of holidays. However, I've met a few Nova teachers in Hiroshima who enjoy their job and say that the rumours are unfounded! I think it depends, like JET, on where you end up working, but be prepared for long hours and crappy working conditions ... same as most language schools!
