I think I am going to be on JET for a little while longer but, I leaning towards getting my graduate degree after JET, I was just going to do it in the US, but if the Japanese are going to give me money from MEXT to stay and study here I will be happy to take it. I am having problems locating the details on the program, if you know the right link, please post it.

I'm thinking of doing the EXACT same thing, so if anybody has any information I'd be interested in it as well.

The consulate that interviewed you for JET has the info on their website. There is also information at the websites at each of the schools you are interested in attending.

Wow, this is pretty amazing and I had no idea it existed. This has made me seriously question my decision to recontract -- I might be circling the "No" box now!

Seventy-something pages of information from people who made it all the way through the application process. Good luck.

Did you have any other professors that you had a decent relationship with? It doesn't have to be your adviser.

I think I talked to my adviser once in my 4 years in college, it was durring my last semester. I never took his classes, they were too ....law-ish, I didn't want to add to the lawyer epidemic that my country now suffers from by getting on a path to law school.
