Did it in 2 weeks but that was the UK.
Thirding the other opinions, once you leave JET it really hits home what a waste of time career-wise it was. You'll want to catch up asap.
Altia Central is one that might work reasonably well alongside the Jet app as they have a September intake. It seems to be a much better deal than the likes of Interac as well.
You're here for an extended holiday and to slam as much poon as possible. A TEFL won't make much difference at all to your app or your time here
I used to fill the sink in the toilet with cold water and dip my balls in there. Worked not bad if only for a short time
I'm not sure it would make much difference. The spectrum-dweller that replaced me on Jet was coming over for his "girlfriend" (Xmas cake 10 years his senior) one prefecture south. He talked about her...
Yeah but come on, our fear of the adult world and minor issues with self-loathing wouldn't be a drop in the ocean for this guy.
PS - OP, please stick around and provide more reading material like...
It's utterly astonishing how a supposedly "prestigious" and "highly competitive" endeavour like JET can choose so many people with obvious personality disorders.
I love how that blogger thinks he "literally beat out tens of thousands of people" for one of only a few positions.
The odds of application success on JET are much higher than any other job we'll...
Can't remember this thread from 1st time round. Mildly entertaining.
OP sounded like a neurotic tool and the "dream job" a scam, no doubt it got entertaining.
Similar thing happened to me but she left me anyway after I shagged her grandad up the chuffer.
Maybe the kids just started to find you irritating after a year with you?
Had you reached the tickly bit by the time the truth clicked?
I used to to a speds school and it was the ones in wheelchairs I couldn't stand. Always taking up room in the corridors and usually not the smartest.
In UK we use proper manual transmission cars, plus our test is on public roads and a bit more difficult than "drive in a straight line through this empty piece of tarmac."
It takes months and...
You come across as more neurotic and insecure tbh.
Quite likely a good long-term plan but be 100% certain you want to be a teacher before doing the training. I quite enjoyed Jet, started teacher training after I got home and absolutely hated it. The...
Sounds like you've not really decided what to do with your life yet, so if your current job is just "ok" it's probably worth trying Jet for a year. Your age isn't really an issue and a year out to...
Could you keep a finger in the pie of the editing stuff on freelance? Depending on placement you might have plenty of time to keep doing editing on the side.
In terms of career if you fancy being...
How many double espressos have you had today?
He's only posted twice, don't start making his skin crawl this early on with your creepy emoji schtick.
What prefecture or vague region if you don't mind me being ghoulish? I knew a few Jets that were on the brink when I left a couple of years ago but I don't do Facebook.
Sounds like the kind of light bulb the genkiest of the genki would come up with at SDC, only for red tape and a lack of enthusiasm from both teachers and students to prevent it going anywhere.

1000 yen a day travel is too expensive?!
If everyone in London outside of Zone 1/2 can manage it you should be able to.
And act like a functioning adult rather than a spoiled and mollycoddled child? How long is it since you were on Jet?
