Is it really a medal if you have to ask for it?

Yea, only people who request them get them at the moment. If I ever get half an hour to myself in the coming year, I'll put in an automatic script to do the post number medals and years on site medal.

Since I'm in my 6th year of being a (barely active) member, could I get that medal please? My name here is a little too bare and I need to change that.

I usually stand in the back and just watch what's going on but I'll try to be a little more vocal if the situation presents itself. Thank you kindly for the medal.

I was also going to request the Indisputably Inaka medal but I wasn't sure if I qualified. The medal is described as: A consolation prize for those who are in placements with no trains, no combinis, and no hope. For five years I lived in a tiny town in the mountains that indeed had no trains or conbinis but there was plenty of hope. Now I live in a much larger place that has trains (2) and conbinis, but no hope at all.

Can I combine the my two placements together to equal one inaka medal?

you raise a good point, mr comedian. the indisputably inaka medal was awarded a couple of years ago to the top 3 candidates competing in a thread to decide who was in deepest darkest bfi. i think the three winners have all moved on to greener pastures so it might be time to hold another contest.

Oh, beans. Now I'll never be a teen model.

Sadly if the contest was held now, I don't stand a chance as my current placement is Disputably Inaka. Unless you want to hold a Disputably Inaka contest where the contestants have to exaggerate how inaka their placements are when they clearly are anything but.

That contest does sound cool. Guess you should wait until this year's noobs are selected.
