    Default Kids making the flashcards...?

OK, so after reading a lot of articles about handing the power in the classroom back over to the students I have hit upon an idea. I teach elementary for two days a week and am always struggling to make decent flashcards, since the online ones available often dont cover what the kids want to learn. I used to draw them out, but this is becoming time consuming.
So...next class, I will hand each kid an A4 piece of paper and ask them to draw what they want to learn (within the topic) so that they are making the flashcards.
Has anybody here done this before? If you did, how did it work out? I`m planning on giving the kids 10mins to draw (They`re pretty good kids and they normally dont take long to do this kind of thing).
Any advice would be much apprecated...

Edit: Btw, its a two hour class, so ten mins of quiet drawing time isn`t such a big issue I don`t think.

I think that's a great idea! But have some backup ones just in case!
