    Default Upside down triangle?

I was just reading an article online (or more to the point, attempting to), and I came across this symbol: ▽. Is this some kinda J-go bullet point that I don't know about? Is it just my computer fonts going crazy? I really have no idea.

Any input would be appreciated =)

    It's the Hamiltonian operator.

It's of great importance. Without it the Japanese are incapable of expressing themselves

What? He’s right. It’s not a linguistic component at all. It’s only used for kao-moji like those beauties that Az posted.

If you cannot handle the kao-moji, you might want to consider relocating to a different country / not bother coming. They are everywhere.

Perhaps I should've quoted the parts I was replying to.. the eyes roll was for the Hamiltonian operator. And no, I don't have a serious problem with the kao-moji, you can keep your pants on.

I'll try to find the article, but it definitely had the symbol used for some purpose... for all I know they were talking about the symbol itself, but that would be a pretty lame article.
