    Default Hotel/Resort Work

Has anyone worked at a nice foreign hotel or resort? What is it like? What kind of jobs can you do? Are there any good resources for finding jobs?

do you mean seasonal working holiday stuff or full time?

unless you have a few years experience working in hotels and/or a degree in hospitality management the big hotels probably wont be that interested.

For seasonal work just check some resorts websites. I know some people who went here

and lots of aussies turn up every year at the ski resorts

say you do have a few years in hotel management under your belt, Ini, do you know how to go about job seeking for full time work? I just have a buddy who is a night manager at the W in Chicago and has been for a few years, he was a JET, and I know he would love to go back to japan.

well the only people I've spoken to about it worked for hotels in the same chain in their home countries and were promoted internally. I sometimes stumble across job listings on the normal sites (daijob, careercross etc)

    Hey,

These three companies offer good hotel and resort jobs in Japan. You don't need experience, but a genuine interest in Japan and/or some spoken Japanese ability would probably help!
