International festival country booth ideas

Hi everyone.

My school is running an international themed bunka festival this year. I've been asked to run the Australian booth. I have decorations and things, but I'd appreciate some suggestions for good activities? (aside from the obvious Vegemite tasting / cute animals). The kids are elementary school and I have a budget of 3000 yen.

Have them paint small wooden boomerangs? They dont even have to be working boomerangs, just something to craft with.

I don't think it's a good idea to hand them what's essentially weapons.

Unless its a material so soft that it wouldn't hurt a fly.

A small Australian Football activity works well. Showing kids how to handball and making a target is good. If you contact Japan AFL they will send you a box of free shit (stubby holders, mini footballs etc. and usually a couple of Auskick balls) that you can give out as prizes.

Thank you so much for the idea. I contacted them and they are sending me some things. Add in some koala origami and a nutella or Vegemite roulette chocolate game and I'm set.
