I saw someone had mentioned it but it hadn't been added: The Akita Wiki is good and has lots of teaching resources even if you don't live in Akita.

RL, if you get a chance can you delete the Yamagata line? That backwards prefecture hasn't had a website in years.

Tottori AJET has a site, but it hasn't been updated in a while. We usually just use Facebook.

I tried visiting a bunch of the sites in the first post and every single one I tried is dead. Might be time for a purge.

    Done.

Let me know if you find alternatives you want adding to the front post.

yeah, because who needs free flowing drugs and alcohol fueling adventorous sex with taut, lithe young bodies when you could wander around a dying town in the freezing cold with a can of asahi super dry in your hand while some toothless old farmer shouts at you.

Going through this thread is kind of crazy. Seeing all of the old posters is interesting. What a transient lifestyle we lead.

Got a few more to add/change:

    Miyagi moved to:
    miyagi-ajet.org

Speaking of which, Sendai ALTs kind of do their own thing:
    http://www.jetsendai.com

    Fukushima:
    FuJET Community | Fukushima AJET

    Gifu:
    gifujets.weebly.com

Toyama seems to be using this more than the other site:
The TRAM | Half Blog. Half Zine. Half Not Good With Fractions

Kochi seems to update their calendar, and this is the website their Facebook group leads to:
    Kochi AJET

    Yamaguchi:
    http://yamaguchi.ajet.net/

    Oita:
    Welcome to OitaJET - home

    Kagoshima:
Kagoshima JET Program | The Official Kagoshima JET Website

A lot of prefectural groups rely totally on Facebook, especially for events and stuff. You can usually find them by searching the prefecture name and JET or AJET or ALT or something.

    Howdy!

    Kumamoto's website has been updated!

    http://kumamotojet.com/shin/

It doesn't seem to have a forum like the old site, but the new layout is pretty sweet and informative!

More importantly...it has a link to ALL THINGS KUMAMON! http://kumamotojet.com/shin/index.ph...hings-kumamon/

For those who want the forums, though, the old site and its forum still work...and people are still posting! That's actually how I met people from my town back in the day. Back in the day...
