    Get a hobby.
My hobbies are loud can't really do them in the staff room.

    Argh!

Although now I have my placement I'm pretty excited to just get out there but then I remember my lack of organising and Japanese.

    +1

But I guess it's been done before (young, disorganized people with little Japanese enjoying their time in the JET Program despite those two characteristics).

Fuck a duck you lot will be here soon.

A week, a month, a year, all these things mean so little when you're actually here.

Go out and do something in your country! You will be glad you did when you get here.

I am not quite sure how's its almost July already.

I cannot seem to remember January - May too well.

Please, I am the queen of Procrastination ... I've only recently started trying to study Japanese so that I'm not totally f*cked once I get there. There's tons of other stuff I'm putting off though ...

Then we have nothing further to discuss?
How about we skip the possible berating and go straight to the make-up hugs?

    I'm in that group too!

My boyfriend is studying abroad next semester in Mexico and we haven't even started to get through all the crap in our apartment yet. Slackers.

Also, haven't worked on Japanese since early December, I'll be lucky if I remember anything aside from reading hiragana and katakana......

June was one of the fastest months in my life. I'm starting to feel the pressure to get my ass in gear and take care of everything I have to. I'll be in Japan before I know it.

Each day that passes, the more I begin to realize where I'm going and what I'm leaving behind. Very exciting and, naturally, a little scary. July 28th will come when it comes, but I will NOT be rushing for it. There's a lot to do here and a lot of people to see in the meantime!

    35 days!!!

haven't gotten anything accomplished, a few classes of Japanese maybe but still screwed...

wow, i need to get to work earning some money so i can pay outrageous aparment expenses, to a land lord who sounds like an uptight moron..... no visitors after 9, no people sleeping over... yea like im going to have massive orgies in my tiny one room apartment.

anyway.. still excited, must stop procrastinating!

    ^^ Ditto

Plus, I finally quit my job today so I'll have a little more time than I had thought to chill and get organised. Mostly likely though I'll be having a nervous breakdown on 27th July doing all the last-minute stuff I had forgotten about.
