Default 3.5 minute lesson [Interac interview]

    Tomorrow I will...

"Drill an imaginary group of 5th Year Elementary School Japanese students on ONE of the following topics:

    1. Numbers 1-5
    2. Days of the Week
    3. Colours"

I am going to pick colours as there's more chance of using interesting examples for context.

I'm hoping you guys can give me tips on surviving what will probably be the longest 3 minutes of my life.

    Thanks.

Spray paint your body in different colors and perform a strip tease.

That is an awesome idea, though I think it may work better in adult classes

I made a rainbow out of construction paper, and went over each color and asked what kind of things are each color. Pretend like you're calling on imaginary kids (What kind of things are red? *look around for imaginary kid raising hand* ok, Takashi! *pause for answer* Very good Takashi, apples are red!) Also, give "homework" at the end. These were tips from the Interac interviewer, and he said the people in Japan watching the tapes love to see that kind of stuff.
