    Lets see, one class we baked brownies, and in another class I did a powerpoint about my home country and let them listen to rock music.

    Brownie Recipe

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
    Melt 115g of butter on the stove.
    Take the pot off the stove and mix in 225ml of sugar and 80ml cocoa.
    Add 2 eggs and 5ml vanilla essence and beat lightly.
    Stir in 200ml flour.
    Pour into a non-stick or greased square baking pan.
    Bake for 25mins. Cut in squares while still warm.

    The recipe is ideal for groups of 4 students.

    They let you use the home ec room?

    That's a really fantastic idea, thank you. Next time we are in the aftermath of exams I'll suggest something similar. It's not a bad way to introduce larger numbers to the kids, and knowing the english word for measurements seems vitally important and yet is completely left out of our text book....
