    Default placements out??

I saw a post on BD asking if people had found out about their successors...so asked my supervisor if she knew who was replacing me...

    It turns out she did

If you're a male incoming CIR from Canada, PM me with your name and I can tell you if your heading to one of the sweetest placements ever. (There is a french girl coming here too...)

It sounds like placements have just about been decided, they're just waiting for people to send in all their info and accept them before we're allowed to get in contact.

Anyway...it looks like you should all know where your heading pretty soon Then we can get to work putting you all in touch with your preds before the official JET notice gets around to it...

My consulate seems to believe it will come out earlier this month rather than later unlike previous years. So there is hope that it could come before late May, let alone June.

Isn't there a site that short-listed folk and predecessors can contact each other on? I remember looking one over awhile back but I lost all my bookmarks when firefox upgraded >.<

    That's exciting, congrats!

Can't say I remember where Charles Villlage is...

I worked on Market Place...lived in Canton the first year, then lived in east Inner Harbor for two years.

I think the only thing I miss about that place is being able to walk to work.

Precisely, the sooner I have an idea about my placement the sooner I can make plans for other things.

Nashville also confirms that placements will be sent out in May. This is so exciting!

Somehow that sounds like such a contradiction. "Appreciation" and "Baltimore" in the same sentence?? Kidding. I'll get around to watching it when I no longer harbor any ill will toward my time there... which could be another 2 years.

I totally remember the Believe campaign. Didn't the cops wear those shirts? I remember seeing bumper stickers everywhere. My coworkers and I made fun of it all.
