Congrats KK! Look forward to meeting you

Immediately add yourself to all manner of Nara facebook pages... there are 2 for Nara JETs that I can think of; NaraJets Cream of the Crop, NaraAJET and a new "friend" called Sento Kun who is a cute wee Naranite.

    Welcome

Classic - I keep telling people I am part Jamaican (hey is true, but way way back in the ancestry)... If you look at my profile pic you will see why it is so funny.
Anyway, now I cannot be the resident Jamaican hahaha

I don't have a Nara placement, but I figured I'd introduce myself in here anyway since I am apparently about three feet away!

Kizugawa in southern Kyoto-fu. Seems to be about 3 miles north of the Nara-ken border, so maybe I can meet some of you guys

Any current Nara JETs know anything about Kizugawa/southern Kyoto-fu in general?

Same as supergreat, southern Kyoto-fu. Looks like I'm going to be coming over to breathe on the glass that separates us from Nara-ken.

And we can sneak in when you guys aren't looking! >.>

A neighbor! What town did you get?

I think I'll start a Kyoto thread to not hijack this fine Nara one.

Sweet!! You'll love Kizu, it's really gorgeous!! ...plus your ridiculously close to Nara City (close than loads of the Nara JETs...amybe even fk and Lains!!)

You might as well join both Nara and Kyoto AJET and choose the most fun events to go to!!

usagicookies: there is a girl on itil who lives really close to you She wasn't here for a while, so i'll send her a text so she can come and say hiya.

KK: hehehe i guess that lets everyone know where the new country is!! Yay!! Shin can't get angry at me for spilling the beans

Jeanish: Welcome lady!! I guess if you don't know where you're going, you'll be a high school JET... (woot!)

    did i miss anyone??

Uda-shi is really beautiful too!! You're really close to both of my favorite temples in the whole of Japan...Plus it's easy to get to Sakurai (so you have good access to both JR and Kintetsu railways)

...Plus it's pretty obvious who your pred is, and you're school is awesome!! I've only been there once, but the kids were really sweet and chatty...and the teachers brought us into the staff room and chatted for ages.

Did your pred get in touch yet?? I don't see her very often, but i can hook you up with an e-mail if you like??

I haven't heard anything from her or about my school, yet.

I looked up Uda-shi on Wikipedia and I think I'll like it.
